This architectural design project, situated in Mulazzo, Tuscany, reimagines a historical site as a dynamic entry\/exit point for younger tourists, integrating a micro-exhibition space dedicated to global creative interpretations of Dante Alighieri\u2019s legacy. By bridging past and present, the design harmonizes traditional materials\u2014stone, timber, and terracotta\u2014with contemporary elements like weathered steel and glass, preserving the town\u2019s medieval-Renaissance character while introducing modern functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Targeting diverse visitors, from self-driven hikers to cultural enthusiasts, the center offers immersive experiences through themed exhibitions, VR rooms, and a rooftop viewing lounge. The spatial strategy balances preservation and innovation: original fa\u00e7ades are retained, while new structures create open public zones. A 244-meter ramp resolves elevation differences, ensuring accessibility and seamless circulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Environmental sustainability is prioritized through passive design\u2014natural daylighting via skylights, cross-ventilation strategies, and locally sourced materials like stone for thermal efficiency. By honoring Mulazzo\u2019s architectural heritage\u2014orange rooftops, honey-hued stone\u2014and fostering dialogue between old and new, the project revitalizes the town\u2019s cultural narrative, positioning it as a nexus for Dante-inspired art, history, and global creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
