Living in the Kiln Collective is a multigenerational live-work community on Liverpool’s waterfront, integrating ceramic production with housing. Recycled Liverpool red brick is processed into new ceramic tiles, which residents help fabricate, thereby embedding the material’s identity into the architecture. The scheme fosters intergenerational exchange through shared making spaces, establishing a socially engaged hub along the Mersey.
