Helios captures the ambiance of the external environment, directing and dispersing it into all internal spaces to allow it’s users to experience the external conditions within its protection. Taking the dated structures of a gasometer, a merge between old and new technologies brings new life and potential for advancements in design. A focus on co-working and co-living has brought on a hyper-flexible design that allows for many potential arrangements for families, groups and start ups. Sliding doors and accordion walls allow for rooms to open up, creating larger spaces when needed for activity, and to close and divide to create privacy. A central fiber optic feature helps to fill the vast void and replicate the sun and the starry sky.
