This project, ‘The peaks of flavour’, aims to celebrate the culture and production of food in hilltop villages, such as Mulazzo. This includes learning, understanding and tasting foods such as chestnut flour which makes testaroli pasta, and pesto. This involves the users senses such as smell, sight and taste which encourages an interactive experience upon visiting this centre. To benefit the local inhabitants, and encourage cultivation and harvesting throughout the village, a space to rent gardening equipment is included. This will further improve the urban nature of the village by providing a communal activity that anyone can become involved in, in attempts to create a close community atmosphere around the village again.
