This is a year-long course project, and we are currently working on the second phase this semester. In this phase, we are required to select a client of our own and develop an architectural design for them. My plan for the project is to construct two buildings on the site
in order to enhance and complement the functions of the surrounding community.
Overall, this project is envisioned to become the core of the community—not only in terms of its geographical location, but also through its functional role. In this semester’s project, I designed the headquarters for the client company. This headquarters is not conceived as a standalone entity; rather, it serves as a medium through which the company integrates into the surrounding community. The building is a mixed-use building that includes both office and commercial spaces. Within this context, residents of the community and the company’s staff have opportunities to interact, which aligns with the company’s strategic vision for development and engagement.
