This project, located in the seaside town of Morecambe, explores the creation of a social hub composed of three buildings. Its central attraction is a cinema positioned at the rear of the site, offering convenient access for both local residents from nearby neighborhoods and tourists arriving from the promenade.

This image displays the site map, illustrating the project's location. The site's proximity to local schools informed the inclusion of a café and study space as one of the three key buildings, aiming to serve both students and the wider community.

My design focuses on reviving the area’s once-thriving social character, aiming to restore the vibrancy that previously defined this site. In its prime, the area was one of Morecambe’s main attractions, remembered fondly for the iconic Tower Theatre, which later became the Gaumont Cinema.

The urban design scheme introduces shared streets, public courtyards, and improved pedestrian routes to the town center. The overall aim is to create long-lasting, multifunctional spaces that serve the community for generations to come.
