As an architecture student driven by curiosity and compassion, I believe design holds the power to bridge people, cultures, and generations. My work explores the emotional and spatial connections between people and place, often drawing from real social contexts to craft meaningful, inclusive environments.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a passion for designing with purpose, balancing form and function with community impact. I specialize in creating engaging visuals, conceptual diagrams, and story-driven spaces that respond to real-world needs. I’m especially drawn to architecture that empowers people, spaces that are flexible, honest, and rooted in the everyday realities of those who use them.
My final year project, Co:Youths, embodies these values. Located in Toxteth, Liverpool, Co:Youths is a youth zone that responds to a richly layered urban fabric and a diverse, multigenerational community. The concept of “different realms in one place” guided my design: a collection of interlinked spaces that support self-expression, collaboration, and growth. It’s a project about connection, between art and architecture, noise and stillness, youth and city.
This project gave me the opportunity to investigate not only spatial needs but also the emotional needs of young people navigating complex urban and social systems. From playful structures to safe zones for dialogue and creativity, Co:Youths reflects my ambition to design spaces that care, architecturally and socially.
As I step toward practice, I carry with me a belief that architecture should do more than look good. It should listen, include, and empower. Co:Youths is not just a building, it’s a vision of what architecture can become when designed with heart.
